A 30-year-old man has been charged with murder following the death of a woman in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire Police have confirmed.
Officers were called to a property in Lingwood Park, Longthorpe, at approximately 2:45 AM on Sunday after receiving reports of suspected violence. Upon arrival, police discovered a 67-year-old woman who was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspect, Gregory Coulson, of Lingwood Park, Peterborough, has been formally charged with murder and is set to appear before Peterborough Magistrates’ Court today.
